Holiday Happenings on the Hill

Christmas season

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or something you made up yourself, chances are that you will gather with family and friends during the months of December and January, talking and visiting in a comfortable place like home. But we’ve got another suggestion for you. Instead of spending time cooking and cleaning at your house, risking cabin fever, why not step out and take a break and spend some time in Lake Arrowhead Village, at Belgian Waffle Works.

Best of the Inland Empire

Voted by Inland Empire Magazine readers as Best Breakfast in the Inland Empire and Best Meal Under $10 for four years running, Belgian is a place where you can sit back relax, visit with the ones you love, enjoy a delicious, affordable meal and relax in the peaceful tranquility of the backdrop of a beautiful lake and mountains.

Santa Comes to Town

If you live down the hill, leave the hustle and bustle of the valley and head up to Lake Arrowhead Village. Let the kids play at Lollipop Park or come up on a weekend so your children can visit with Santa. He’ll be on Center Stage:

December 13th & 14th from noon to 4 pm

December 18th & 19th from noon until 3 pm

December 20th & 21st from noon until 4 pm

December 22nd, 23rd and 24th from noon until 3 pm

After your kids visit with Santa, head over to the outlet stores to scoop up some holiday bargains. If you live on the hill, take advantage of Locals’ Day on Thursday, Dec. 12. There will be lots of specials and discounts that day, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. If you mention you’re a local to the staff at Belgian Waffle Works, we’ll give you 10% off!

Winter Fun
We’ve already had three snow storms this year and more snow is on the way for sledding, skiing and snowboarding at Snow Valley. You can also come up to go snowshoeing or cross country skiing at Rim Nordic. Even if you have tiny tots in tow, you can drive them up the hill to enjoy a snowball fight or make a snowman.
